This knife is made of an excellent quality metal.Its not like some local knife that is found which invariably you will find the handle coming off or even the knife bending.A little expensive but worth it.The Silkrute delivery was spot on too.Make sure you keep it out of reach from kids.The knife is really sharp.Expensive so make sure you store it in a safe place.

A very good cleaver. Has that bit of a heavy feeling which makes it nice to chop veggies, meat, etc. If you're looking for one, I'd recommend this. Just remember to get yourself a combination stone to keep it sharp!

Mum went back to our 15 years old Richardson Sheffield knife...I wish I could but those on Silkrute...I bought this after reading all the reviews on here... May be it worked for others, not for us :-(Looks sturdy & I believe its good quality steel but it's impossible to use this on the cutting board... It's kinda twisted & it's not a manufacturing default. :(((
