The blades are not sharp...and too much pressure one has to put..because the blades are not sharp it doesn't cuts apple thoroughly..one has to actually apple force to pull each piece..now that can end up hurting..

Looks good and that's where goodness ends. I tried slicing diffent size apples but never got an easy of semetrical cut. Needs alot of power to get through an apple. I am back to nife.
