After using in microwave the plastic handle got damaged within use of 1 month and they are claiming it is microwave safe, waste of money in such high priced items.

Advantages
The carafe is very cute and one enjoys making a cup of tea in it because of the beauty of the product. However, the handle, which is made of plastic ????, melts and caused me a blister when I touched it. Because the glass gets very hot, it continues to boil the liquid in it even after the gas is switched off. So do be careful about that.

Size is very small to use even for single person ..... it says 650 ml but it’s actually 500 ml which is usable. Also it looks very small in hand and u will be surprised to see that how it can actually hold even 500 ml.Also second major issue which I felt was the base was unstable at gas base and is very dangerous to use as it hold lots of safety issue.Only one thing which I liked is it’s like cute even though it’s useless actually. ??Anyways I have initiated return for this and will order traditional saucepan.

Pros: Build quality is good.Look is really goodCons:1. the handle is too close to the glass which makes it difficult to hold the handle and lift when the pot is hot2. Flame needs to be very low. A little higher flame tends to melt the plastic handle3. Built-in Strainer in this one is useless according to me. The liquid in the pot bypasses both the strainer and lid when you try to poor it.4. Handle is fixed at one place. It tends to rotate around the neck of the pot. May be it’s design intent, but I find it annoying. Difficult to lift the pot.

I got the smaller one, it's the perfect size for about 2 mugs of tea.I use it every day, it's great. The filter at the spout keeps tea grounds from pouring into my cup. The collar and handle are metal free, so the thing is safe for quick reheats in a microwave.
