Excellent sturdy product.Optimum temperature is maintained, much better than any non-stick. Frying and cooking in less oil and with right temperature is a bliss for those who love to cook.It seems to be pre seasoned, but still did the seasoning process. Have to keep it dry and coated with a layer of little oil forever and you are good to go ????

Good one. It is heavy and sturdy. I seasoned it after receiving. It was almost like a nonstick vessel in first attempt only. Hope it will be still more better as and when i use it repeatedly. It is my 3nd cast iron vessel. I got a Lodge pan and eKitchen Dosa tawa.. Rock Tawa is almost on par with Lodge. I'll recommend it and like to buy more from Rock again..,to encourage Atmanirbhar Bharath.Thanks Amazon and Rock Tawa..

While I had bought an 11 inch kadai from another good company, I found that very big and heavy for daily cooking for a family of 4. Was very happy with the Rock tawa frying pan that I bought last year, so proceeded to buy this size kadai from them. Excellent size, excellent quality and easy to handle. It turned out to be such a good buy that I have subsequently bought 2 more to present to my in-laws and another relative.

Just like Non stick - I got Wonderfully Cripsy based Upma. Veg dry curries or fries are coming out very nice(Attached is a pic of Broad beans fry)I have been using their Dosa Tawa for a while now...wanted to give kadai a shot and it worked out wonderfully...yes it is deep rather than flat bottomed. it will be great if they can release a flat bottom as well.Suitable for a family of 2-3. Go for it without a doubt...

I bought Rock kadai yesterday, you should clean it with salt first and then use soap water and wipe it, then put it on fire on stove top and rub oil with a tissue paper, this process should be done after every use so that rusting can be avoided
