Does the job perfectlyMade Odia pithas, bhapa doiHowever the glass lid is not a perfect fitAnd the lower pot which boasts of stainless steel had dots after the very first use, hence I doubt if it’s really good quality. Vinod is a well known brand for stainless steel utensils in India hence this is not expected. Also the second time I used, the water evaporated( admit my mistake for putting the stove on high) but it got black at the base and not able to come off even after extensive scrubbing

Some steam leak issues noticed. We don't Steam food much so Now We use the bottom vessel to boil eggs and potato and upper vessel to wash vegetables... ??

It is a decent quality steamer at a very reasonable price. It will get the work done. A total value for money product.I was expecting a little heavy quality and better finishing from a company like VINOD.*For everyone who are complaining of discoloration, Please boil 2 cups of water with 1 teaspoon of vinegar or lemon juice in the container before the first use. It is clearly mentioned in the warranty card as well.

Advantages
U can make anything on it like idali dhokla momos but for idali dhokla u have to put other cooking pans ofcourse for idali idali pan n for dhokla another pan so for me it's not useful if u don't have the enough utensils and yes u can use it as steamer for vegetables,and u can use it for cooking rice and another thing also it is induction based so useful.
