The bottom is heavy and spreads heat uniformly. We din't notice any signs of food getting burnt even at bit high flames. It's a worthy product to buy. It's better to go for 3 to 4.5 ltr capacity. Kadai with 2 ltr capacity which we bought seems to be bit small for a every day usage for a family of 3. It's definitely a good product and we are planning to buy more of this.

It’s very strong, I have been using it for a long time. I had been reading a lot about disadvantages of non stick and I wanted to shift back to stainless steel and I am so glad that I did. Pros that I find in it are 1: no stress of scratching the Teflon coating which no matter how much you take care , goes away in 2-3 months 2. You should know the correct way of using stainless steel . It can actually work just like a non stick 3: it’s costly but I think it is going to last very long so worth the price

The quality of material is good but the size of the Kadai is smaller than expected. Go for 4 litre one which is available around ?1,300(mostly) to avoid returning and reordering.

Update April 2021: Glad to say that Kadai was replaced under warranty! Highly recommended product and EXCELLENT after sales service. Bottom is heavy but sides needs to be handled carefully. Bought this is December 2020 and the side cracked in Feb 2021 because of negligence of house maid. It was replaced under 2 years Gurantee.
