Container is good. I can store rice or any other cooked food in fridge and directly reheat while eating. Comfortable, makes work easy. I just pack the food and keep in fridge, so no idea about leak. Very good quality and genuine borosilicate glass. The big advantages of this over Tupperware style containers is that they are safe as they do not leach chemicals into food (especially at high temperatures), and they are great for reheating food in the microwave straight from the fridge/freezer whereas even microwave-safe plastic containers get damaged when oily food is heated. They can even be used in the regular oven. The glass is extremely temperature stable and solid, and easy to clean as well. The containers look presentable enough to be used directly as serving bowls on the dining table too, which is great. Always remember to remove the lid before heating though!

Overall, I really like Borosil products and I recommend this product too. That being said, the box I got isn't completely leak proof. I wouldn't store broth or soupy lentils in this. I own another Borosil "klip and store" box (a few years older)--they seem to have changed the design a bit, and the rubber gasket is much more difficult to remove in this newer one. Not to sound overly critical; I will still use this Borosil container every single day. Hope the gasket holds up, like the older one did.

Borosil containers are just so good. I have them in multiple sizes. They are so leakproof and completely freezer and microwave safe. And I love that they don’t stain in turmeric. Also their rubber ring is easy to pull out to clean. I don’t know how durable they are — haven’t really dropped any as of now. But all in all a great product.

The square and rectangular ones have better fitting lids than the round ones. The round ones have poorly designed/mismatched lids. *After a month of use, I'm happy. There is no 'Borosil' brand marking on the glass. They used to have that on the products marketed in the US a few decades ago. This helps to differentiate between the originals, jobwork items, and fake items. I wish the lids made stacking easier.

I reached that point when I wanted to store all my food only in glass containers almost 3 years ago. Since then I have stored, baked, marinated, frozen food in these glass containers and have delighted at the sturdiness, durability and 100% leak proof feature of it. They have fallen a few times but survived the fall, but they can not survive falls from great heights. I lost two beautiful sets because of my kid pulling out things carelessly from the fridge. But after 3 years I'm still happy about these as they don't retain smells or odors!!! Unlike plastic containers Plus they never go out of fashion Plus i can always get admiring looks when I get out these containers even though they are so old. I did find them expensive when ifirst purchased these, but over the period of time I have begun to realise that if I collect the amount of money I spend on plastic containers that have to be replaced often, It would probably cost me the same or even less over the period of time. I have got multiple sizes to suit my needs so I will post this same answer I'm all the reviews. My only need now is to find out if I can get replacement lids in case these get worn out. Hope the suppliers can answer this query.
