I've been a fan of La Shield's 40 SPF PA+++ since 2016 but this is their worst work. La Shield generally markets their products as over the counter pharmaceutical range and that worked better for them. Marketing their newer range as cosmetic products like this one, is simply not working out for them. (FYI The La Shield's SPF 40 was at 600 rupees so you can see why this 50 SPF sold at 280 felt like an easier answer). Here's why this product doesn't cut it for me.Firstly, as one can refer through the media attached the product is not fully filled within the tube. The seal was intact so I am assuming that the problem is with the product and not with it's packaging integrity. Mind you, that the pictures show literally an unused tube.Secondly, the fragrance is so weird. That's the only word I can use to describe it. The closest association I can make with this scent is the smell you get when walking down the soap aisle at the grocery store.I guess for 280 it is not a bad product. I like the slip the product offers, no whitecast at all (which is great), I like the hydration it offers, very surprised with the coverage actually, which is why this product gets an overall 3 from meChange the fragrance and the misleading packaging and you've got a winner. I cannot emphasize how disappointed I am with the quantity.

I don't think this is the real La Shield sunscreen, it's probably a knockoff. It has a very thick creamy texture and extremely heavy, not suitable for summers if you have sweaty and oily skin. Also, it burns my face a lot.

Finally found an affordable sunscreen that works for me. I have UBER sensitive skin, but this product doesn’t irritate me. Can be applied close to the eye without stinging. Smells great and spreads well. Has a slight white cast, but that’s to be expected with mineral sunscreen. It’s not noticeable on light coloured skin.My only suggestion would be to make a large version of the same product.Edit: downgraded to four stars because it runs and cakes a lot when you’re sweating a lot. Doesn’t have great water resistance

The cream leaves white cast and its very oily. Sometimes it burns when exposed to the sun. Application is quite tedious. Formulation in the form of stick would be helpful for re-application
