It's nothing out of the ordinary. Has a strong fragrance. Also, some charocoal based products tend to have bits of charcoal in it as a scrubbing agent. This one doesn't have it. It cleanses well and that's about it.

My experience - While the face wash cleans well, it leaves the skin very dry and rash break outs can happen. Happened with me. Not suitable for sensitive skin at all. My opinion - It’ll perhaps be better for use on oily skin and in hot and humid conditions.
