I was surprised at the thickness and density of the applicator. I found the mascara to be a bit clumpy. However it was easy to cleanse at the end of the day with eye make-up remover. Good for mature age skin.

Not the best mascara, you have to be quick to apply as goes dry and flaky! Also tube dries quickly. There are much better mascaras out there.
