It has a cheap Navratna oil kind of smell.Made my beard itchy and felt terrible to touch. Tossed it in the bin.Disappointed in the brand, their beard butter is really nice.

I have never used a beard wax before this. Maybe because I never had grown a proper beard before this time. Hence I wanted to invest in a good product which can manage my curly beard and keep it itch-free. I landed on this Beardhood product and got interested. I liked the packaging it came in. The outer box is very premium and gives a sense of freshness as soon as you open it. The tin container has a matte finish. By the looks of it, this looks quite interesting. The hold is also good, and can be easily carried for 7-9 hours. Easily washable with water. The areas I would like to improve is the overall scent of this product. It could be made to smell less like castor oil (which is also good for hair btw), and with more aromatic tones. Plus it's very hot in Delhi right now, yet the wax is quite solidly packed. I need to warm my fingers, in an effort to pluck it out. Can this be eased in some way? Looking forward to the next purchase, with my beard held high. :)
