When I bought the tub, it already smelled a bit funky. I thought it's different from the jaggery I usually buy.Then...The entire tub (airtight, stored in a cool and dry place) went bad within a week.Caught fungus and smelled extremely bad.Really really disappointed with the quality of urban platter. Wasn't expecting that. 600 bucks down the drain.

I bought urban platter jaggery powder earlier too and was good but this time the flavour is not that good with some whitish patches mixed.I discovered that the earlier product was manufactured at Namakkal, Tamil Nadu which was good and the latest one (batch MH030521) manufactured at Hoshiarpur, Punjab is not that good.

We used to use this Jaggery powder (1 KG Jar) on regular basis. But this time we had ordered for 3 KG jar and we opened the Jar after 2 weeks of delivery. Not sure what happened this time, it was full of bad smell and was not in a condition to use and therefore requested for return. But they couldn't return it back as the return time line got over. Manufacturer should have some responsibility about the product quality they are selling. Anyway it's a very bad experience and then thought of sharing with you.
