Advantages

Best castor oil in the market. It's thick, mix it with some other oil, say coconut oil and apply on to your hair. Needs 2-3 washes to wash off totally from hair.

Disadvantages

Received this item without lid and only 5 months are remaining in the expiry period, which was for a total of 12 months, means, 7 months already gone by. Seems like by dropping the price the seller is clearing their old stock. Very cheap tactic.

Minimum quantity :2 so I doubted whether he wants to clear the stock/sell nearby expiry date. EtcBut ordered & found i was wrong after delivery.Product had 1 year expiry date.Got the last month manufactured one.Recommended, hexane free. Organic.cold pressed. Low price compared to other brands.

Updated review after using it: we bought this for preparing traditional ayurvedic hair oil and it was of great quality and flavour. The price is also comparatively lesser than other ones in Silkrute, however that doesn't affect the quality of the product.I will recommend this product to all.The bottle is very gud with inner cap that helps in controlling the flow of the oil

I have been mixing this oil with coconut oil for longer hair and yes it has definitely helped me grow some inches. It's kinda thick as it should be so be sure to mix with your personal favourite oil and apply .

Advantages

I would rate it 4.5 as it is little muddy not as clear as the Soulflower or Aloeveda castor oils I have used previously. But a little muddiness is not impurity rather less refined, which doesn't affect it's potency or makes it any less good than other brands. Not for mention other brands are 2x more costly. So if your application is for skin or hair buy this without any hesitation.
