We just moved to india. Needed a oil for cooking frying hence selected the pomace variety. Except for the name with says olive oil and the (color maybe) and label . It’s can be passed for any other vegetable oils and you wouldn’t know the difference. The pomace we are used to can easily pass fir a virgin oil here I think after buying this product. This must have been refined and refined and refined to take even the last ounce of anything olive....it cones down to grading. So probably the lower side. I may not buy this brand definitely not fir extra virgin after seeing the quality of pomace.This is just me. I just happen to have tasted several olive oils and brands over 25 years branded from Spain Italy Greece Cyprus and unbranded are the best in my opinion from the Levantine-med region By the way not all were expensive.I am in my quest to find a reasonably priced good olive oil here yet. It’s just been a few weeks I will be trying one by one.Update: after two more weeks and to be fair I have revised my rating upwards to two stars. The reason being...I haven’t tried the other oils here in india..and probably not fair to compare to outside india ..so it may turn out disano..may be the best option amoung the lot at the price point here in india..I may revise it further up or down as tine goes if the others are worser or better than disano I am only talking pomace...yes to try the extra virgin products here in india.
