It is thick and quite soft. I use it as a powder/ blush brush for a non detailed diffused look for a larger area. It picks up the product quite well and I use it quite often. One star less for..... It has a strong chemical smell initially mixed with an animal like smell (read Goat) which dissipates eventually over a couple of months with repeated washing every 10-15 days. I had bought the same brush 5-6 years ago and it had the same problem with the odor. Another thing is that they changed the shape of the brush over the years. The previous version was an exact dupe of MAC fluffy powder brush and this shape is just more ..... fluffy. Anyway, it still works for a large area and I got is very cheap for around 200.

I just got this delivered today, and I regret buying this already! I am really confused as to how to start reviewing this brush, but let's start with the one and only good thing about it, it's packaging. The brush comes in a good looking gold color, self locking and twistable package, exactly how it is shown in the picture. Now, let's get to the brush itself, firstly the Vega outer packet claims that the brush is made from 100% natural bristle, but it is definitely NOT, it's 100% synthetic.It's very rough and it pricks the skin!! The head of the brush is not rounded as a powder brush should be, instead, it is kind of flat headed like a stippling brush, and because of it's 100% synthetic bristle, it hurts! The brush is in fact so rough that it scratches up the surface of the pressed powder, and you might end up with a ruined compact! And to top everything off, it can't pick up enough powder, so basically now I have a brush which pokes my face, destroys my pressed powder but can't pick up any powder, though how it manages to do the last two things together is beyond me!
